The Lehigh Valley Business Coalition on Healthcare has extended its partnership with United Concordia Dental, which will remain its preferred dental carrier for LVBCH‘s Employer Members through 2030.

“Under the extended six-year contract, effective January 1, 2025, and extending through 2030, United Concordia Dental continues a three-decade commitment to LVBCH’s membership,” said Jack Gross, LVBCH membership & communications chair. “This contract provides increasing value to LVBCH’s 275+ members and 400,000+ covered lives.”

LVBCH’s partnerships are made with the goal of helping employer members improve the quality and reduce the cost of their employee benefit offerings.

“The extension of our contract with United Concordia Dental doesn’t just help control dental costs, it provides many different network options for our employer members,” said Rich King, CFO, Schlouch Incorporated. “At Schlouch, we appreciate being able to provide cost effective solutions to support our employees and their families to maintain and manage their health.”

The coalition said it estimates that the extended partnership will save LVBCH’s employer members more than $100 Million per year over the six-year contract.

This is the eighth consecutive contract awarded to United Concordia, who has been LVBCH’s endorsed dental partner since the mid-1990s.
