AI In HR Benefits: A Framework for Use Cases

As a leading voice for large employers that sponsor health and retirement benefits for tens of millions of American workers and their families, The ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC) is committed to unlocking the promise of AI by advancing policies that avoid costly compliance burdens and protect employers’ ability to offer generous, uniform benefits to their employees and families nationwide. This report is a foundation for ongoing dialogue, grounded in expertise and shaped by the diverse perspectives of ERIC’s membership – our AI Task Force included representatives from 20 large employer ERIC member companies. We invite federal policymakers, stakeholders, and industry leaders to engage with this work—and to join us in shaping a future where innovation and integrity go hand in hand with creating uniform public policy.
