Carl Seitz Named to Lehigh Valley Business 2024 Power List for Health Care

The LVBCH is a leading non-profit employer health care coalition headquartered in the Lehigh Valley for the past 45 years. As president, Carl Seitz is responsible for continuing the growth and accomplishments of the organization in providing affordable access to quality health care. Key areas of focus include group contract negotiations, building and maintaining relationships with decision makers, growing the organization’s market area, and strategic plan development and implementation.
Seitz has served in his current position seven years.
He said negotiating group purchasing contracts for health care benefits that save millions of dollars a year for members is the key value proposition for the LVBCH. Th organization’s purchasing partners include Capital Blue Cross, United Concordia Dental and Express Scripts. “Over the past seven years, VBCH has experienced significant membership growth–expanding from 190 members in 2017 to 280, which represented a 47% growth rate,” Seitz said. “LVBCH has expanded its reach from the core Lehigh Valley market to include members across Pennsylvania and other states.”
