LVBCH OBESITY LEARNING COLLABORATIVE
EMPLOYER MEMBERS ONLY
About the Obesity Learning Collaborative: The obesity learning collaborative is an ongoing peer-to-peer discussion and educational series featuring local employers and clinical experts on obesity topics. For the past three years, these sessions have focused on comprehensive obesity care while also taking a deeper dive into the landscape around GLP-1s and other anti-obesity medications.
This Obesity Learning Collaborative welcomes Laura Rissover and Katie Wubbenhorst of Aon, who will share learnings from Aon’s “Workforce-Focused Analysis on GLP1s” report.
Beyond the Headlines: What Aon's Real-World GLP-1 Research Means for Employers
Aon’s latest analysis of GLP-1 users provides new insights into medical cost trends, adherence, women’s health outcomes, cancer, and emerging clinical impacts across a nationally representative commercial population. Join us as we explore what these findings mean for employers developing long-term obesity, chronic disease, and workforce health strategies.
Learning Objectives
By attending this presentation, participants will be able to:
- Describe key findings from Aon’s Phase II GLP-1 research, including impacts on medical cost trends, healthcare utilization, and adherence.
- Evaluate emerging evidence related to GLP-1 therapies across cancer, cardiovascular health, women’s health, and other evolving clinical outcomes.
- Assess how adherence influences both health outcomes and the long-term value of GLP-1 therapy.
- Identify strategic considerations and benefit design approaches employers can use when developing obesity and weight management programs.
